Fantasy / Comedy / Whimsical

Are you an avid fan of Studio Ghibli?
If so, then this animation movie is best served for you! Yes, there are lots of good animation series in Studio Ghibli yet I'm recommending this one for its heartfelt and promising characters (though all of the movies were really that good). But if you're also a neko lover out there, then this is really the animation movie to stick your eyes to 'cause you can't miss The Baron Cat in this movie! ~
During the late evening, she suddenly heard noises outside her home and discovers a clan of cats approaching near, all lined up and standing as they walk!
Haru suddenly got herself getting engaged with the Prince of Cats and was brought to their world. Along the way she meets the the Baron Cat, a charmingly gentleman cat from the town who patrols over the Cat world to ensure just and peace. He and his chubby cat friend became the acquaintance of Haru throughout her journey on finding her way home. Well, that’s the summary I could tell you. Suddenly became interested? You can watch it on different anime platforms! It’s always free! |

2 : Paprika
Mystery / Whimsical / Psychological
|
In case you haven't seen this anime movie before, then you might want to try and see the quirky side of it. Paprika is a movie animation produced by Satoshi Kon in the year of 2006. So far of watching psychological anime, this is yet the movie that teases my brain up until now.
Japan has a way of creating psychological movies weird and that makes them the trend when it comes to psychological and sci-fi due to their creativity of making turning events and plot twists in a certain anime movie.
Atsuko or so-called Paprika then springs into action to recover the device before damage is done. The climax starts when dream and reality began to collide with each other, with the manipulation of the culprit who stole the DC Mini and Atsuko were not the only ones who are involved but also the people around her.
Paprika, on my own view, seem to adopt the concept of the russian doll. Dreams began to pile after another dream until Atsuko reached the core of where the culprit was hiding. |

3 : Tokyo Godfathers
Drama / Comedy
|
Tokyo Godfathers was another of Satoshi Kon's animated movie aside from Paprika in the year of 2003. Perhaps I could say that this was another heart whelming anime that I've ever watched because of the glimpse of reality and preceding obstacles that is portrayed in this movie. It's unlike any other anime out there because the characters are unusual to cast in any anime movie (because they are beggars) and each of their stories are way more deep that might really swoon your emotions over.
While rummaging in the trash for food on Christmas Eve, they stumble upon an abandoned newborn baby in a trash bin. With the three of them unable to identify the baby's whereabouts, the three misfits search the streets of Tokyo for help in returning the baby to its parents. As the three took care of the baby while searching for its parents, the trio were faced with dangerous circumstances, obstacles in raising a newborn and moments of realizing their love with the baby itself.
Well, it's for you guys to see so I won't spoil much further of this! |
